Matt’s previous website lacked the design, structure, and SEO optimisation to match his level of professionalism and performance. The creative direction for Matt Gore’s new site was driven by two objectives: convey the excitement of a live performance and build trust with event organisers looking to book a professional entertainer. The design features a bold orange accent — a distinctive nod to Matt’s trademark “Ginger Ninja” hair — balanced with clean typography and a black-and-white base palette to ensure legibility and visual impact. We curated high-energy performance imagery and embedded video to give visitors an immediate sense of Matt’s stage presence. Hero sections and headline placements were carefully chosen to ensure his value proposition is front and centre from the first scroll. The tone of the visuals and copy is upbeat, confident, and approachable, reflecting both his comedic style and his professionalism.

Functionality and User Experience

Navigation was designed for efficiency, ensuring event planners can find the right service within seconds. A main “All Services” overview page gives a snapshot of Matt’s offerings, while individual service pages — Stage Shows, Virtual Shows, Walk Around Magic, and Public Speaking — function as targeted landing pages optimised for specific keywords and audience needs. Each service page follows a clear hierarchy: attention-grabbing headline, benefit-led description, testimonials, media gallery, and a strong call-to-action. The site is fully responsive, with mobile layouts tested to ensure video, galleries, and calls-to-action display seamlessly across devices. The backend is structured for easy expansion, allowing Matt to add e-commerce for merchandise or ticket sales without disrupting the core navigation.

Branding and Storytelling

Brand storytelling is woven through every section of the site. The “About” page highlights Matt’s personal journey — overcoming a speech impediment to become a confident, world-class performer — in a way that inspires and connects emotionally with visitors. The orange accent colour is used strategically for buttons, highlights, and headings to maintain brand recognition without overwhelming the viewer. Testimonials and press quotes are placed strategically to build credibility and social proof, and photography alternates between action shots and personal portraits to balance performance energy with authenticity.
