about RefractAR

RefractAR is an independent XR studio based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with the mission to be the go-to studio for artful XR experiences. It was founded by Sam Jones and Lauren Cason, two incredible talents in Technology and Innovation.

Lauren began her career as an intern at the MIT game lab before moving on to work on award-winning games such as Monument Valley 2. She has worked at Apple, Ustwo, and, most recently, Meow Wolf as their XR Creative Director. She was also named one of Forbes' 30 under 30 in Games for 2018 and she is a Snapchat Official Lens Creator.

Sam is a computer science and augmented reality genius, having created the multi-viral Snapchat and Instagram filter, Filter Jelly Helmet, which has received over 25 million views worldwide.
