Double Nominations for Visuable’s Founder, Lidia Drzewiecka at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards!
A Reflection on Growth and Gratitude
I'm ecstatic to share the news of my double nomination for the esteemed Great British Entrepreneur Awards as the Global Entrepreneur of the Year and Creative Entrepreneur of the Year.
This recognition has sparked a reflection on the remarkable journey that Visuable and I have undertaken over the past 8 years as a digital brand agency.
In 2015, the launching year of Visuable, I delivered 12 brand photoshoots as a freelance photographer for incredible clients locally in Bristol, England. At the time, it was just me delivering projects to clients. The excitement mingled with nervousness as I wondered if this venture would develop into a sustainable business or if I will be able to grow the team, reach new target audiences, and be able to meet people all over the world. Everything was new and unsteady - but I had a big passion to make Visuable into a success.
Fast forward to 2023, Visuable has matured, grown and we’ve found our place as a digital and global agency. We have proudly served over 1000 customers worldwide, which has been such a pleasure. We closed 2022 with 477 client bookings, including a significant number of loyal repeat customers. Our reach now spans across time zones, collaborating with clients in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Norway, Finland, Greece, Italy, and beyond. Leading the evolution of Visuable from a local provider to a global digital agency has been a wonderful and eventful journey.
Today, it’s not just me steering the wheel, but there is a whole team behind everything we do. Our team now includes 9 in-house Digital Experts, 2 Virtual Assistants, and 5 Copywriting Partners. It has been wonderful to find brilliant creatives and experts to join Visuable, and together evolve as a company. Our Leadership Team has now transitioned from 1 Creative Entrepreneur to a Creative Director supported by 3 incredible Team Leads: Inka, the Design Lead, Sérgio, the Accounts Lead, and Efi, the Projects Lead. Those people are doing an incredible job at orchestrating everything to ensure that all our clients dreams and goals are fulfilled.
Aditionally, I am deeply grateful for the various nominations and awards we have received in recent years. One of the first recognitions I received was from Great British Entrepreneur Awards in 2018. At the time, it was just me and Inka in the company. In the last couple of years, we’ve received a good number of nominations and awards including being one of the 100 most inspirational business women in 2022 by f:Entrepreneur Magazine, one of the 100 Most Inspiring Female Founders in 2022 by Business Matters Magazine, and selected as a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in 2022, as well as the Small Awards in 2023, and winning a Web Excellence Award for the best Website for a Digital Brand Agency in 2022 has been an honour.
With the help of my team, I’ve developed the company's direction to become something that I can truly be proud of and also renewed our company values. Today, we’re not only delivering exceptional websites, brand design projects, and digital marketing solutions, but we’re also committed to employee welfare, celebrating diversity, and fostering an environmentally conscious business. We strive for a balance between purpose and profit, utilising our business as a force for good. For instance, this year, we campaigned for International Women's Day, advocated for Turkey and Syria's aid, and celebrated Pride.
It has been an extraordinary journey over the past 8 years, and I couldn't be more excited about our plans for the coming years. I am looking forward to leading Visuable towards a bright future as an award winning agency, excelling at digital solutions and service excellence, while also standing out as a Force for Good, making a positive impact in the industry.
