Founder’s Thoughts: My Business Accelerator Journey – Entrepreneurial Spark.

The end of 2017 is fast approaching and I've been reflecting on my journey as an entrepreneur and how far Visuable has come over the last year. So, 11 months ago (December 2016), I was sat on the roof of a skyscraper in Bangkok filling in my application for Entrepreneurial Spark, the world's largest free people's accelerator (check out my view at the time below!).
9 months ago, following a successful application, my journey began. On a rainy day February 2017, Entrepreneurial Spark Accelerator opened it's doors to myself and 90 other start-up businesses, all on a mission to take over the world 👨🏻💻👩💻🌍
During a 2-day Bootcamp, I met so many amazing entrepreneurs who have now become my friends. My mindset was stretched and the vision for my business was very much expanded. During the initial 3-month Sprint Programme I was challenged to create a proper business plan, identify my ideal audience and grow my mindset as a business leader.
6 months ago, Visuable was one out of only 20 businesses who successfully graduated from the initial 'Sprint' Programme and progressed into 6-month 'Enable' which offered individual business 1:1 coaching, an awesome office space, and even more amazing business support.
During that time, we've grown and evolved from a one-woman enterprise, motivated by the desire to provide business owners with incredible imagery and websites that authentically communicated the essence of their brand, into a multi-disciplinary digital brand agency, with a small but powerful team of specialists skilled in everything from branding and photography through marketing to web design.
It's been a hell of a journey which involved working long days and often nights in order to keep up with our ever-evolving business vision, growing number of projects and responsibilities. We've grown our team from 1 into 5, broaden our service range to include additional branding and marketing services and expanded our reach to now serve clients across Europe.
Our #godoawardsnight last week at the end of October marked the end of the 'Enable Programme' and I am very happy to announce that Visuable is one out of only 3 businesses, who started with us, will be progressing into the 'Grow' stage of the Programme. That's 3 out of 90 –feels a little like on the Apprentice.
Things are getting serious over here and one of our key goals this quarter is to further grow our team of Expert Digital Creatives, who can help fulfil the growing demand for what we do, as we are heading for an international expansion.
