Alison Edgar helps entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes learn to love selling. She is passionate about helping startups and SMEs which is why she has been voted one of the UK’s top 10 business advisors, won multiple awards and been invited to both Downing Street and Buckingham Palace.


Alison Edgar, the Entrepreneurs Godmother approached us asking for brand photos that would capture her unique personality and showcase her brand in a way that's representative of who she is and how she goes about running her business. The images that Alison was using at the time were captured in the studio, didn't have the right colours to represent her brand and felt somehow out of sync with the identity of the Entrepreneur's Godmother brand. 


The Process

We worked with Alison to understand how she would like to be projected and which key aspects of her business should be reflected in her new image collection.

Alison's personal brand is bold and full of life and usually represented by the colour pink. We've pulled a brand vibe board together to help Alison prepare for the photo-shoot.

We've included things that would help Alison visually convey what her business is about: the laptop, pen, suitcase, classy sofa and a tiara necklace - all items that belong in Godmother's brand attributes toolkit.



What inspired you to start your business?

I spent 25 years working in BlueChip sales and realised there was a clear difference in sales technique between the high flyers who were hitting and exceeding target such as myself, and the ones who were struggling to hit target each month. This inspired me to investigate the differences and create my ‘Four Key Pillars of Sales’, an easy to understand sales technique which guarantees results. Working in and around small businesses on a daily basis, I found one of their biggest challenges was to pro-actively sell so I thought “Not on my watch!” and made it my mission to teach them.


Why did you choose to get creative with us?

I’ve known Lidia for a long time and so I’ve been able to watch her brand progress into the fab company that Visuable is today. Visuable’s brand ethos is really aligned with ours so I thought they were the perfect people to get creative with!


How would you describe the process/experience? 

Absolutely fantastic. Lidia and the team really understood us and allowed us to feel comfortable when working with them. The photo-shoot day was fun and relaxed and Lidia and her team captured images that truly showcase what we're about! 


What responses/results have you received after your re-launch?

We had an amazingly positive reaction! Lots of people have commented on the work that Visuable have provided for us, it has really helped raise our professionalism.
