Case Study: Brand Photo-Shoot | Julia Cawte
Coaching | Training | Supporting
Julia is passionate about helping people reach their true potential. Years ago she worked as a probation officer in London, working with a wide range of offenders and enjoyed the challenge of helping them move from where they were to where they wanted to be. Since moving to Bristol she coaches many people to reach their personal goals.
Julia came to us because she felt that the photos on her website don't reflect who she is and how it's like to work with her. She wanted a vibrant set of images that would capture the spirit of her sessions, showcase her personality and give her website visitors an insight into how it's like to work with her.
We've worked with Julia to understand who she is as a brand and how she want's to be projected. Being an artistic soul, it was important to pick a location that represented her passion. We chose the beautiful Hours Space in Bristol where Julia runs her workshops from.
A stunning collection of photographs that help Julia to build trust online and showcase what she is about. Julia is now using the photographs on her website, social media, business cards, flyers and in marketing collateral to seamlessly carry the brand personality across all platforms.
Q&A WITH JULIA
What inspired you to start your business?
I have always loved helping individuals inspire, change and grow and I started doing this when I worked with offenders in the Probation Service. Several years later I started working for myself coaching people on their personal goals and one of clients, Alex - (I have permission to use his name) said to me, Julia, I'm really worried as I have a Best Man's Speech to do. I told him not to worry as I could help him with that, as I have a background in drama, as well as coaching and NLP. He told me he was nervous, didn't know what to write and how to deliver it. Over the course of a few sessions, we worked on all of these issues and he told me that after his speech some people came up to him and asked him if he was a professional speaker. I was, of course, absolutely delighted for him and it was at that moment I decided to work with people to transform their relationship with public speaking and presentations.
Why did you choose to get creative with us?
I chose to get creative with Visuable because I knew the photos on my website were dull and boring and didn't reflect me or my brand. I knew Jen Wagtaff had her photos done by Lidia and liked the vibrancy of them so I chose to work with Lidia.
How would you describe the process/experience?
I enjoyed completing the questionnaire and the mood board as it was thought provoking. It was also fun having my hair and make up done for the photoshoot - I think I could have that done more often! The actual shoot went very smoothly and was relaxed and enjoyable.
What responses/results have you received after your re-launch?
Have had many people comment on how much they like the photos and I always tell people Lidia did them I use them on my business facebook page and Linked In as well as my website. I also had more work enquires after putting the photos on my website! Thank you so much Lidia!
Where can we find you online?
I look forward to hearing from you!
Now your new brand is ready, what are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future include working with more people on my "Step Up and Nail It" bespoke coaching programme and working with more companies and organisations who value the personal development of their staff. I also want to live, work (and play!) somewhere warm, beautiful and near the ocean for part of the year training, teaching and coaching people in public speaking, personal goals, drama and qi going (energy work).
